It's AGM Time (and Firewood Weekend)!
Monday 7 November 2022
It's fast coming up that time of the year again! This coming weekend (Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 November) we are holding our annual "Firewood Weekend" working bee.
This is a day we all get together to cut, split and stack firewood for the camp to use for next winter. As much as this is a weekend of hard work, this is also a family weekend with a ton of laughs and a great time for all. As per the history of working bee weekends, all accommodation is provided, a shared pot-luck dinner is on Saturday night, and we ALWAYS have a campfire in the evenings
As part of "Firewood Weekend" we will be holding the “2022 AGM”, a chance to catch up with everything that’s been happening over the last 12 months, and plan for the coming 12 months.
In previous year these have been short and sweet, this year we have a lot of ground and some very important topics to cover so please set aside a few hours, bring refreshments and settle in, we will try to keep it short, but hey… it’s the AGM after all.
We are currently building the agenda of items to be discussed, but definitely on the agenda will be the elections for the executive team (chairperson, secretary, and treasurer) and bringing on new board members should they wish to join in on the fun. If anyone has any nominations they would like to put forward, please email sara@mangatepopo.co.nz with the following information:
